Demand Planning Manager

We are seeking an experienced Demand Planning Manager for our First Quality Consumer Products, LLC located in McElhattan, PA.?

This position is responsible for all activities that lead to the development, communication and ongoing maintenance of a rolling 24-36 month demand plan that is used to drive strategic and tactical manufacturing, distribution and financial/budgeting decisions. This role is expected to develop strong working relationships with both internal and external stake holders.?

Primary responsibilities include:

  • Coordinate, manage and support the activities of the Demand Planning Team.

  • Supervise the collection and analysis of commercial data and activities associated with our customers and products. Work with sales, marketing and customer service to better understand and interpret market factors that will impact the demand plan.

  • Develop a culture that continuously improves the quality of the demand signal, instilling industry best practices, as well as training and development techniques.

  • Effectively contribute to the S&OP (Sales and Operations Planning) process by preparing and facilitating monthly S&OP Demand Reviews.

  • Design and maintain a demand planning process capable of meeting forecast accuracy and bias goals. Create corrective actions to address non-conformances with demand related S&OP KPI?s.

  • Lead the demand plan review process and collaborate with business partners to ensure the best possible demand plan. Regularly engage with the BU?s and business functions to align on priorities and goals.

  • Develop and manage processes the maintain ERP data integrity.

  • Develop and maintain standardized and custom reports in both Excel and QlikView.

  • Serve as the business owner for all processes, software applications and data required to support the demand planning functions.

  • Provide quantitative and qualitative data analysis where appropriate.

The ideal candidate should possess the following:

  • Bachelor?s degree in Operations/Supply Chain Management or related field, or a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience.CPG experience preferred.

  • Experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP-APO.

  • Understanding of best-in-class demand planning strategies and techniques.

  • Very strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Excellent computer skills, particularly with Microsoft Excel.

  • A demonstrated ability to develop strong working relationships.

  • Well organized and a high level of attention to detail.

  • Excellent coaching and development skills.

  • Supply Chain certification a plus.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
