Community Services Group (CSG), one of the largest Human Services Providers in PA, is recruiting for a Coverage and Authorization Specialist I in Lock Haven, PA. We are looking for someone who is an outgoing, organized, team player with outstanding customer services skills.
This is a Full-Time Position (40 hours per week) working Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The ability to work a flexible schedule is required. CSG offers a complete Medical Insurance (medical, prescription, dental & vision coverage) and Benefits Package (Paid Time Off (PTO), 401K, Life Insurance, Travel Reimbursement, Paid Training, Career Advancement, and more) for those who qualify!
The Coverage and Authorization Specialist I is part of CSG's Support Services Team which is a company-wide administrative service that uses a process management approach to enhance customer satisfaction and financial health for CSG. This position is responsible for the following duties:
Verifying insurance and benefit eligibility for consumer.
Providing consumer insurance and benefit guidance to internal and external customers.
Verifying and entering data relevant to the authorization for payment of services.
Verifying and accessing various benefit resources and completing electronic eligibility checks.
Entering and tracking authorization information with approval dates for timely payment of services.
Initiating required paperwork for authorization of services.
Monitoring and maintaining communication to prevent expired or denied claims for payment.
Managing single case agreement process.
Performing other duties as assigned.
To be considered you must meet the following
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalency.
One year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Must have the ability to obtain clearances as defined by regulations.
